Priority Project and Conceptual Design Process
Your community will collaborate with the planning and design team to identify your priority project site(s). This will be the foundation of the conceptual design process with our team. You can view other conceptual designs and a bit about our process for RiverTowns communities here. This design will be a tool that can be leveraged for your RiverTown to seek funding for implementation to continue to improve your local river assets. Having a strong collaborative and input process from your Local Leadership Team and community at large during conceptual design will ensure our team provides you with concepts that are ready to be carried forward into implementation.

Wayfinding and Signage
Wayfinding and signage is an essential resource for safety and information on the Tennessee RiverLine for users. Additionally signage in your community and along your stretch of water trail provides a coordinated regional branding opportunity that ties all of our RiverTowns communities together! During the conceptual design process, our team will work with you to develop wayfinding and signage packages that are specific to your community needs.
Trail Evaluation & Designation
Trail evaluation is the culmination of Stage 2. At the end of your conceptual design process and implementation of signage and wayfinding, our team will take an assessment of your community local water trail in order to officially designate your stretch of the Tennessee RiverLine! Part of this evaluation process will include recommendations for moving forward into Stage 3 of the program, and continuing to expand and enhance your RiverTowns community assets.
