Join Paducah–McCracken County for a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and heritage of the Tennessee River during a free paddling event hosted in partnership with the Tennessee RiverLine. This guided adventure begins at Clarks River Landing and takes paddlers along the Clarks River into the Tennessee River, ending at the Foot of Broadway in downtown Paducah.
Participants may register for a tandem or single kayak from the Tennessee RiverLine fleet through Paducah Parks & Recreation. Kayaks are limited and registration fills quickly. Paddlers with their own kayaks are also welcome and must register in advance to ensure transportation accommodations.
Event logistics:
Kayak fleet participants should meet at the Foot of Broadway by 9:00 a.m. on the event date. Transportation will be provided to Clarks River Landing.
Participants bringing personal kayaks should drop them off at Clarks River Landing by 8:30 a.m., then drive to the Foot of Broadway to join the group. Tennessee RiverLine representatives will remain at the landing to watch over kayaks.
Registration opens July 9 at 8am CST, via Paducah Parks & Recreation. Click here to register!
