Join us for the 2027 Tennessee RiverLine Summit in North Alabama, where the Tennessee River is at the heart of a region known for its music, history, outdoor experiences, and strong sense of place. The Tennessee River has always inspired people to create, connect, and leave something meaningful behind. Few places embody that spirit better than The Shoals. Known around the world as the birthplace of the "Muscle Shoals Sound," The Shoals has welcomed generations of musicians who found inspiration in its people, its places, and the steady rhythm of the river. That same spirit of collaboration and creativity continues today, making it the perfect setting for our annual conference.
Each year, the Summit brings our RiverTowns and partners together to reconnect, learn from one another, celebrate our progress, and look ahead to what’s around the bend for the Tennessee RiverLine. This year, The Shoals will be our host, and will give us the chance to experience how the river has shaped the communities of Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, and Tuscumbia.
Over the course of the Summit, we’ll spend time together in conversations, collaborative sessions, and hear from partners and communities across the region and beyond. We’ll dig into opportunities and challenges we share as we work to strengthen river access and outdoor recreation, support community vitality, care for the river, and continue bringing the vision for the RiverLine to life.
Please note: The Tennessee RiverLine Summit presented by Boardsafe is a professional gathering for RiverLine partners — including RiverTowns, principal and supporting partners, and affiliated organizations. Attendance is not open to the general public.
