This is the signature event of Chatt Town Cool Down, and it’s a parade like no other! Bring your own kayak, canoe, or SUP, or rent one from our coordinating partners to be a part of this people-powered paddlers parade through downtown Chattanooga.

Shuttles will be provided between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. prior to the event starting, and Outdoor Chattanooga asks that everyone registers for shuttles in advance. The paddle will launch from Rivermont Park Dixie Boat Launch and end at Coolidge Park Canoe Launch, which should amount to about 2-3 hours on the water. Costumes during the parade are encouraged, and there will be prizes for most creative paddler and craft!
